And at last the major problem of the game is the voice acting, most native characters sound like they are doing a bad imitation of an accent, some sound Indian, some Russian, some I don't even know, their accent falls off at some points and then it changes, this makes no sense and I fail to see how could it have been so bad. In the nearly 10 hours that I have played it so far, it fails to pull its disparate threads into a cohesive whole. Combat is bare, writing is not great, the story is okay but not presented in the best way. Greedfall frustrates me because it’s a game of half-measures. If you want me to go back and forth to do quests at least let me do that ♥♥♥♥ quickly.Īll in all the game is not bad, but adds so much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and time sinks that make it a boring game with not much meat/content to it. Even if I can fast travel from fireplaces and other points, its not enough, let me open the map and teleport from there, by the end of the game walking was a major issue and I could take no more of it. The bad parts are the norm, and the good parts are tucked somewhere in between. The quest design, writing, and voice acting are all terrible, with a handful of exceptions. I never advise for games to add ways to fast travel, but this game needs it bad, walking around is not fun, going to cities is not fun, whoever thought it was a good idea to make them into labyrinths is an idiot. It's as simple as Fable, but far jankier. Items are interesting but the skill tree isn't ,attributes and talents are okay, but the idea that having different attributes and talents gives you possibility to complete quests in different ways is quite wrong, its more like if you do not have the correct attributes/talents you have to do more steps to complete a quest. and its long ohh so long, the story is quickly explained in 2 minutes, but having to travel the world twice just to talk with one person takes so long. The story is so lame, characters motivations are so weird and half the time character just do a 180 to move the story forward. IGNs GreedFall complete strategy guide and walkthrough will lead you through every step of GreedFall from the title screen to the final credits, including every collectible. Human move into position to attack, monsters just bite you or roll into you out of nowhere. Monsters have this instant attacks that are impossible to predict or defend if you don't constantly parry. The combat is a problem, playing with traps and poison is the worst, I have to constantly hunt for ingredients for my traps otherwise I cant use any of my abilities. max out reputation with some groups and they still don't trust you, ok. The biggest problem of the game is how the quests are implemented, they make you run all over the map to complete a simple side quest like gathering information on someone and after 15 steps of talking with different people the quest simply ends with no resolution. Craftmanship: This allows you to craft armor and weapons. This game has a lot going for it, but it has a lot more going against it.Vigor: Allows you to pass through difficult areas, such as balancing or rock climbing, increases maximum ammo capacity, and lets you recover HP and magic outside of combat.Intuition: This allows you to see gathering spots more easily, increases the number of items obtained from gathering and looting, and unlocks extra dialogue options.Lockpicking: This allows you to pick locks and see traps more easily.Science: This allows you to make potions and you can destroy weak walls using explosive vials.Charisma: Reduces the price of items from merchants, improves the combat abilities of companions, and increases the chance of success for certain dialogue choices. There is equipment that helps to increase talents, and your companions can also give a level increase too while they are in your party. There are six different kinds of talents in GreedFall and it's impossible to level up all talents in one playthrough, so you have to be super picky about what you choose to unlock.
